Business Process Automation Service to Help Break Paper Gridlock in State Courts

Pleasanton, CA and Tucson, AZ [December 6, 2004] - Nsite, Inc., the only on-demand business process automation company, today announced it has completed a strategic partnership with pioneer e-file service provider, Lawdex Corporation. According to the companies, Lawdex will provide an e-filing solution powered by Nsite to help attorneys and state courts speed the filing of case documents on-line. The federal courts have mandated that all filings be performed electronically by 2006.

Lawdex will demonstrate the e-filing solution at the E-Courts 2004: Linking the Legal System conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 13 - 15.

"The Lawdex/Nsite solution is one of the more practical approaches to e-filing I've seen," said John Messing, a lead presenter at this year's E-Courts 2004 conference. http://www.legalxml.org/governance/#messing

Attorneys and administrators have expressed a critical need to improve the speed at which paper flows through the system, which in 2004 will include more than 1.5 billion documents from 90 million court cases. Lawdex is responding to this "paper gridlock" by delivering a solution to automate what had been a mostly manual process for sending, receiving and recording court documents.

Attorneys and administrators using the Lawdex solution powered by Nsite can initiate a request to route a document and track its movement throughout the routing process. The result is a more visible and efficient process that eliminates paper filing and manual touch-points.

"As unbelievable as it sounds, studies tells us that Courts can spend 90 percent of their work hours filing," said Scott Stanley, president and CEO at Lawdex. "The combination of Nsite and Lawdex cuts that time by automating the paper mill. Nsite is genius. Their Predictive Routing Engine is revolutionary. We've integrated their technology with our legal know-how to create a solution that is both powerful and easy to use."

"The state court system is a potentially huge market for business process automation services," said Bob Jandro, president and CEO at Nsite. "As an industry the courts are spending billions of dollars annually on the delivery and storage of case documents. Nsite and Lawdex can help to minimize some of that expense by making it easier for industry personnel to route and file these materials. Lawdex is an expert in the area of technology to the legal industry, and as such a natural partner for Nsite."
